Did not receive confirmation email following registration in LMS

Solution

After creating a new user account in the NDLSF Learning Management System a confirmation email will be sent to confirm your account.  This is necessary to prevent unauthorized access to the LMS.  If you do not receive your confirmation email within 30 minutes of registration it may be due to the following issues.

  • The validation email was caught by your spam filter.  Please check your spam/junk folder for the email and mark the email as not junk.  Click on the embedded ling to authenticate the account. 
  • The wrong browser was used to register for the LMS.  Non-compliant internet browsers may not post the information to our database or may not trigger the email system to send you your validation email.  Please try again to register using Chrome or Firefox.
  • Typo or invalid email address was submitted to LMS.  A valid email address is necessary in order for you to receive the validation email from the LMS.  If the email address is incorrect, the system can not send you the required email for validation. Please re-submit your registration with a valid email address.
  • LMS email system is down.  After confirming the above is not the cause for not receiving your validation email please submit a help ticket so we can further investigate this issue.   
  • Registrants email address was a outlook.com, live.com, hotmail.com, or ported through office365.com. This issue has been identified as a recurring problem and a resolution is in progress.  

Please submit a support ticket indicating you have not received your confirmation email following your account creation.  We will verify your account by hand and once the account is confirmed you will be able to log in.
